School Psychologist
-
Our elementary school psychologists are devoted to promoting the social and emotional health and development of our youngest learners. While their primary responsibility is to serve as case manager for students with IEPs and 504 plans, they are available to support all children within the school community. Their comprehensive educational backgrounds allow them to meet the academic, emotional, and behavioral needs of our students.
The psychologists offer formal and informal support services ranging from counseling to teacher consultation. They are available to support students and families who are navigating the day to day challenges and successes of childhood. Elementary school psychologists are an integral component of the learning environment supporting aides, teachers, and administrators. From kindergarten screenings through fifth grade graduation, psychologists lead the support staff in identifying, developing, and implementing strategies to help each student maximize their potential.
