Hello, Rye Middle School!

I am thrilled to be serving as Assistant Principal at Rye Middle School. Over the past fourteen years, I have worked in the Rye City School District both as a teacher and an Instructional Technology Staff Developer and it has been my pleasure to serve the Rye City School District and Rye community. I was named the RCSD Teacher of the Year for the 2020-2021 school year and received the 2021 LHRIC TELL Award for Innovative Outstanding Leader.  As a parent of a rising middle schooler myself, I am quite aware of what it is like to have a middle schooler both at home and in school. The opportunity to lead RMS in this new role is an honor.

I am excited to continue the work of developing an educational program that advances the critical skills necessary for all learners to achieve success as citizens in the rapidly-changing global world and workplaces of the future. In collaboration with Principal DiGiovanni and the staff here at RMS, I am excited to work with our incredible students -- and partner with parents -- to support not only their academic needs, but their social-emotional learning needs as well. Together we can fulfill the Rye Commitment to allow students the opportunities to grow and be responsible and caring citizens of the Rye community and beyond.
