The Facilities Department is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the District's five school buildings, and surrounding grounds and fields.

The Facilities Office also plays a critical role in the District's construction projects and works closely with the Business Office and the District's consultants to ensure that construction proceeds in accordance with the approved design, meets stringent standards of quality, and is in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.  

Rye's five schools' campuses are an integral part of the educational system.  The buildings and grounds are maintained in accordance with NY State Education Department health and safety regulations.
